2011 Mini Countryman WRC |
Mini has gone from making really small cars to making small, sporty hatchbacks, to making 4WD 5-doors, to finally making Rally Racing Monsters. This 2011 Countryman WRC (World Rally Championship) was revealed at the Paris Motor Show a couple months back. It's been fitted with all the required WRC modifications with the help of Prodrive. This includes rally tires, rally hood scoop, rear rally wing, All-Wheel Drive, and the most important feature: the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder 300 horsepower Turbocharged engine. Mini will be entering the WRC next year to go up against Ford Focus RS WRC and the highly coveted Citroën C4 WRC. Let's see if this car will do well.
