Exclusive Silver Paint |
Here it is: one of the boxshot heroes of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. It's fast. It's lightweight. It's powerful. It's everything that you need in a genuine supercar. In the regular game, you can get it in an orange paint. However, in the Limited Edition, you can get this exclusive silver paint as seen on the Limited Edition boxart. But, that's not important. What is important is that this car produces 678 horsepower from a 7.3-liter AMG V12 engine. 0 to 60 is reached in 3.4 seconds and it's top speed is 217 MPH. With the Nitrous set at full blast, you should reach 234 MPH. That is impressive for a car made by something that has never been used before.

With the combination of Carbon Fiber and Titanium, Pagani managed to make this special Zonda out of Carbotanium, a lightweight and fast alternative to the everyday substances. And, yes, it does work. It's weight and power really come in handy in the corners. It's so easy! What makes this car even better is it's braking power. The brakes are massive Brembo's and will get this car from 124 to 0 in 4.3 seconds. That's a real life feature, and is also in this game. I didn't think Criterion would add that in, but that's just staggering!

What's also awesome about this car is that it's so exclusive. They only made 5 of these, each costing over $1.2 million, and don't think you can get one over here, because this car is illegal in the US. The orange car that you saw on the original front cover of this game was actually used in real life. It was previously owned by someone who reluctantly gave his up to make an awesome real-life Hot Pursuit movie featuring it and a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Interceptor. You can see this movie

Anyway, the point is the Zonda has become one of the world's greatest supercars. It is a complete honor to drive this car in this game, because it just comes alive. If you unlock the original Zonda Cinque, you will get the NFS Zonda Cinque with it. Only the limited edition dudes can have it in this Silver paint though. It doesn't matter. This car is truly brilliant.
