So, yesterday, I had a long and quite interesting chat with Noël Holmes, one of the dudes behind Test Drive Unlimited 2. He gave me an interesting break down of what's to come as the game approaches its release date. First off, there will be over 90 cars to buy on Ibiza ranging from the Turbo-nutting VW Golf Mk.6 GTI to the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. There will be over 3,000 km of road to drive on (Ibiza & Oahu combined). There are over 650 challenges to complete all over both islands. There will be dynamic changes in weather and time during gameplay. You will be able to share anything with your friends, whether it be clothes, items, or even cars. There will be DLCs (downloadable content) available for this game coming after the launch. You will be able to buy mansions, garages, even yachts. You can enter racing schools to hone in your driving skills. There is realistic damage in this game, so be careful how you're driving your car. You will be able to rise up and become some successful virtual billionaire. If you thought Facebook or World of Warcraft were the ultimate things in terms of social networking, this game brings you closer to friends than ever before, by racing. Pick up TDU 2 in game stores next month.

Life does get rough if you're the Owner, CEO, and Official Rally Driver of a shoe company. Luckily, if you're Ken Block, things tend to get easy as life goes by. Just recently, Mr. Block was in France giving rides to popular extreme surfers and BMX bikers involving him doing what he does best, Gymkhana. He did give a girl a ride, although she did scream the whole time. Ken doesn't mind giving demos to people. He did the same thing for James May when he had the old Subaru Impreza. And the Awards Keep Flowing In

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit has already received recognition at E3, Gamespot, and Gameinformer. It holds the mantle as the best driving game of 2010. You think the awards stop there? Today, IGN awarded NFSHP for being the best multiplayer game of 2010. This is a big honor. There have been many multiplayer games out there like Halo: Reach, Call of Duty: Black Ops, even World of Warcraft. But, out of those heavy-hitters, this awesome racing game turned out to be one of the best. Well done Need For Speed! Check out my review here.
